Korail Gwangju to Expand Routes for Vacation Season

The Gwangju Branch of Korail has announced it will expand its routes connecting Jeollanamdo and other vacation sites across the country.

A total of 1,484 KTX scheduled trips connecting Seoul and Gwangju will be operating for the upcoming summer vacation season. There will also be 310 trips into and out of Saemaeul as well as 992 for Mugunghwa. 

Also, 22 more trips linking Seoul’s Yongsan and Songjeong Station in Gwangju will be added for train Nuri. 

In addition, the ‘Jeongdongjin’ temporary tour train for travelers to the east coast of the country departing from Gwangju will be operating from August 2nd.
